How they met
"Jeremy and I met while watching a football game at some mutual friends’ house. We were sitting near each other and able to strike up conversation pretty easily. He left before I did and I remember so badly wanting to leave then as well so we could walk out together. Later on we became friends on Facebook and I wrote a note that included a bunch of questions in which I tagged him. One of the questions asked “do you have a crush on me?” his reply of “how could I not” sparked my interest. He invited a bunch of people to a concert on a Friday and I in turn asked him to a show on campus with me the follow evening, Saturday. It ended up that we were the only two that went to the concert on Friday night and afterwards we went to IHOP for some late night breakfast (one of his favorite restaurants I soon found out). The conversation was awesome and we were both able to get answers to questions that were needed to continue pursuing one another, it was amazing. Soon after that he was calling me almost daily to ask me to lunch. Finally I was able to say yes and we met for lunch at a local sandwich shop. Because I was under the impression it was a date, casual but nonetheless a date, and he didn’t pay (he didn’t think it was a date but more of a ‘get to know each other’ hang out) I decided against pursuing the relationship. I mean do I not deserve a date to be paid for or what? Well lucky for Jeremy my mom convinced me to not give up on him because “you don’t fall in love on the first date” (or, according to her, she wouldn’t be with my father). Well I gave him a do over and we began talking every night and went on our “first” date a few weeks later. It was perfect. We went downtown to a hip café that you can make s’mores at your table! And the rest is history!"
